Alabama and Griff’s story is an emotional one; it’s about second chances in love and life, it’s about taking control of your choices and the life that you’ve been given, it’s about loving yourself and the best person you ever knew.

You know those books you pick up without knowing what to expect from it and then you come out of it completely exhausted because all of your emotions and feelings have been ripped apart and put back together? Yeah, that’s what Paula Dombrowiak did to me with the first two books in the Blood & Bone series.
My god, this book. It was an absolute rollercoaster of a story and toyed with my emotions in ways that I did not expect. And that’s why I loved it so much. Every time I thought I had an inkling of what was going to happen, it was completely ripped apart and tossed aside. Melanie A. Smith has outdone herself with this story and the relationship between Max and West.
Sometimes you stumble across a book on NetGalley, not knowing what you’re going to get when you start and then suddenly you’re crying and feeling all the feels and falling in love with characters you’ve never met before and adding previous books in the series to your TBR and your Kindle because you just need more!
You know what Melissa Grace does really well with her stories? She makes you feel everything. In Home Is Where You Are, we all fell head over heels for Liv and Jax because of how dreamy they were and how you could feel everything they were going through. And that’s the same with Home Again when we spend a good long time with Cash and Ella.
Elliot Andrews’ romance debut is the first book I’ve read that talks about the pandemic and its existence! I love that. I know that we all want to forget about the pandemic and how it’s affected our lives, but Elliot weaves it into his story seamlessly and it makes sense given the journey that our hero goes through to get to the end of the book.
You know what Monty Jay is really good at? Tugging on your heartstrings. Every book of hers that I’ve read so far has just blown me away. She writes incredible stories, with such complex characters who go on journeys that are relatable, but also so beautifully crafted.
I enjoy Layla Hagen’s brand of romance, it’s light and it’s fun and it’s sexy as all get out. And in the new series, a spin off from the Very Irresistible Bachelors series, we meet the Gallaghers.
Aly Stiles continues to slay this series and there wasn’t a single dry eye as this book was being devoured. I just want everyone to know that I haven’t cried this hard while reading a book in a really long time. All my heartstrings, Aly Stiles tugged on it.
Every minute of this book was so incredible. The angst, the struggles, the friendships and relationships – it was all just so amazing to read.
