When I read Read Between the Lines late last year, I fell in love with Rachel Lacey’s storytelling and writing style. It’s so different from other romances that I’d been reading and I needed more. And then I saw that we were getting a second book in the Ms. Right series and I was so excited! Because Lia Harris was one of my favourite supporting characters in Read Between the Lines and she deserved her happily ever after too!

I was excited about Broody Devil. What I did not expect was for my feelings to be completely shattered, my heart filled and ripped apart and put back together all at the same time. Melissa Ivers basically went all out with this story and delivered something so wonderful, I need more people to read this masterpiece.
Maddox and Alyssa’s story might just be my favourite of the Blairwood University series. While I haven’t read the first two yet (it’s on my list), I have loved all of these characters through the other stories. But this book ticked all my boxes and I loved everything about this story so much!
This book, like all of the Cloverleigh Farms books, had me completely drowning in my feels from start to finish. Melanie Harlow knows how to write stories that tug at your heartstrings and destroy you emotionally before building you back up. And with Ellie and Gianni’s story, she did that and more.
Going into this book, I honestly had no idea what I was getting myself into. But let me just say that Corinne Michaels took me on a rollercoaster of emotions. One minute I was laughing and enjoying the Parkerson family shenanigans and dynamics and the next, I was weeping into my pillow. But when a book can make you feel so much and put you through that kind of chaos in 300 something pages, then you know you’re in for a treat. An emotional one, but still a book that you must have in your life.
If you’re looking for a quick, fun and sexy read featuring two best friends who fall in love and have to go through the motions of figuring out what that means, then The Friendship Contract is for you.
When it comes to Ana Huang books, you know you’re in for a wild ride. But it’s not just the exceptional steam that gets my attention about these books, it’s the depth of these characters, the trauma they’ve suffered and overcome, the strength that’s both obvious and hidden and the relationships they build with everyone else in the books.
I can’t believe we’re almost at the end of the Greene family stories! Because I’m not ready to say goodbye. I feel like I became a part of the Sunrise Bay gang and now all I want to do is move to the Alaskan small town, find love with a random stranger and live my best life there. I digress, my love for this family is deep and I am so glad to have been able to experience their stories.
I want to start this review by stating that while this book wasn’t entirely for me, it doesn’t mean it won’t be perfect for you. All the opinions in this review are my own and my feelings for how the story unravelled. Keeping that in mind, please know that Meghan Quinn is an author I admire and will continue to read, but this book just didn’t do it for me. And that’s okay!
I really loved and enjoyed The Bet when it came out earlier this year and even then, I think I’d already decided that Flynn was my favourite Winslow brother and once I read this book, I knew I was right in thinking that. Because he’s such a big change from Max Monroe’s usual heroes and I loved him so hard.
