We have only waited for Jules and Ruben’s story for like ever and Juliette Cross did not disappoint when she delivered this one. Through the first four books, we’ve seen these two characters moving around each other like animals waiting for the moment to attack, but to really and fully understand the extent of their relationship and why they are the way they are really made this story even more special.

With Katia Rose, I know I’m always going to get a romance that makes me feel all of the things and makes me wish I was part of that world and could hang out with these characters. And it’s no different with Girlfriend Material.
Catherine Cowles’ Tattered & Torn series has me in a chokehold, so you can imagine how desperately I was waiting for Shiloh’s book. And not a single minute of it was disappointing. We’ve been watching quiet and cautious Shiloh slowly find her strength through four books, so to have her be able to tell her story, see her fall in love and find the peace she’s been missing for so long was quite something.
Excuse me while I swoon and smile again over the perfection that is Grady Miller. We spent four books getting to know this guy and he’s always been the loudest, wildest and most inappropriate character in the series. And yet, when his own book comes around, you really learn just how incredibly special he is. It’s impossible to hate or even dislike Miller, because he’s a cinnamon roll puppy and he’s so sweet.
If you asked me who I trust to write gripping romantic suspense and keep me hooked from the get go, I would definitely say Kimberly Kincaid. I may not have read all of her books (or a lot, to be very honest), but the ones I have read have captivated me completely.
As someone who has loved Elsie Silver’s stories since the beginning, it’s absolutely no surprise that this book made me feel all the things. One of the things that Elsie does really well is creating characters that you want to be friends with and characters you want to get tangled up in the sheets with all at the same time. She writes some of the best grumps and her steamy scenes are off the charts!
I want to start this review by saying that I wept quite a bit through this story. That just goes to show how powerful and beautiful Ava’s writing is too. It’s a marriage in crisis story about two people with broken hearts and broken pasts trying to find their way back to each other.
Much like the first book in the series (Here to Stay), On The Hustle is a book filled with heart, friendships, found family and some of the best steam ever written. I might not have read a lot of Adriana Herrera’s books, but the ones I have read tell me that I can always expect and enjoy smouldering steam and I am grateful for that.
It was so great to go back to Nashville and hang out with everyone’s favourite rock band. And seeing Liv/Jax and Ella/Cash again made me so happy. I missed Ella so much and I forgot just how fantastic she is, but Melissa did a good job of making me remember and feel the love for this incredible character.
I feel like I’ve spent a good portion of my reading life with the Greene family, so to know that this is the last book (till the 2nd generation series comes out) makes me sad. But also happy, because all of them discovered something about themselves and they’ve found love and happiness of their own.
