You know those books you pick up without knowing what to expect from it and then you come out of it completely exhausted because all of your emotions and feelings have been ripped apart and put back together? Yeah, that’s what Paula Dombrowiak did to me with the first two books in the Blood & Bone series.

When Melanie Harlow announced that she was going back to Cloverleigh Farms and bringing the kids of the original gang to life, I squealed so loud. I have loved the Sawyer family so much that I was sad when the books ended. Sure, we got the awesome Bellamy Creek group too, but the Cloverleigh gang was who introduced me to Melanie and I wanted more. And now we have it!
After I was introduced to the Blairwood gang in Kiss to Defy, I was really excited about meeting the other characters. And when Anna announced that she had one coming later this year, I jumped at the chance to read it.
I gotta start by saying that this book delivered way more than I ever thought I would get. While the third in the Marriage series, this is my second book by Sara and I am hooked. I can’t wait to read The Dating Plan next and immerse myself in all this wild fun and craziness.
I really loved and enjoyed The Bet when it came out earlier this year and even then, I think I’d already decided that Flynn was my favourite Winslow brother and once I read this book, I knew I was right in thinking that. Because he’s such a big change from Max Monroe’s usual heroes and I loved him so hard.
The one thing I know I’m always going to get when I read a Catherine Cowles book is a great suspense storyline and she did not disappoint! Anna and Mason have tragic backstories that connect them through the book, but also strengthens their relationship a lot. And I didn’t expect to be wrung so dry of my feelings and emotions as I read this book. It totally caught me off guard, but I appreciated the journey it took me on through these characters.
As someone who is not a fan of anything related to Christmas till the week of the holiday, I was pretty excited to read this novella. It’s a quick, fun, flirty and sexy read and it definitely set the mood for some Christmas excitement in my life.
I think as my first ever Alexis Hall book, this is a good place to start! It’s got so many things that I absolutely love and what really caught my attention was the lesbian couple struggling with their marriage and solving a murder mystery in the Scottish Highlands! I mean, you read that and you know you need to get your hands on it too.
My god, this book. It was an absolute rollercoaster of a story and toyed with my emotions in ways that I did not expect. And that’s why I loved it so much. Every time I thought I had an inkling of what was going to happen, it was completely ripped apart and tossed aside. Melanie A. Smith has outdone herself with this story and the relationship between Max and West.
I know we’re only four books into Piper Rayne’s series featuring the Greene family, but guys, I am obsessed with them. From Marla and Hank’s love story in the free novella to everything that’s happened with Cade/Presley, Adam/Lucy and Nikki/Logan – I am addicted to this family and all the things that they keep finding themselves doing.
