This book had a whole heap of tropes and while I enjoyed most of them, it also felt like there were too many? I’ve always had a hit or miss relationship with Jennifer Probst books, but I loved the sound of this one so much I had to pick it up. The premise, the characters, the location and basically the underlying message of helping other people achieve their potential was a big draw for me. Because Lia Harris was one of my favourite supporting characters in Read Between the Lines and she deserved her happily ever after too!
Something So Sweet was a great introduction to Joy Avery’s stories and her writing, because this story was fun, but it was also emotional and it had all of the things that I like about small town romances.
