There were so many things going for this book that should have worked for me, but I struggled through it. And I entirely believe that this is a ‘me’ problem and might be a book enjoyed by others. It took me a really long time to warm up to the characters.
I love a good romantic suspense like anybody else, but I didn’t know the kind of suspense I was getting myself into with this book. I loved the blurb and I wanted to read it and let me just tell you that I had to force myself to turn off my Kindle and start work today because that’s how desperately I wanted to keep reading this book.
The Aviatrix was such a treat! It’s a historical romance that is 100% about women empowerment. And Violet Marsh did such a wonderful job crafting this world, the characters and this story.
