From the moment this book was announced, I was excited and ready to dive into a whole new Jessica Peterson world. I loved her North Carolina Highlands series and knew that whatever came next would also be truly magical. And she did not disappoint.
I don’t think there are enough words for me to express how much I loved this book. I’ve always loved and admired Milly Beauregard, the only daughter of the family, and after spending four whole books watching her be loved on and teased by her big brothers, it was so great to finally experience her story. It’s not just the details of the place these characters inhabit, it’s the little details that stick with you. There’s food, wine, clothes, weather and moods – and Jessica Peterson nails every single minute of this book with precision and magic.
