As someone who has loved Elsie Silver’s stories since the beginning, it’s absolutely no surprise that this book made me feel all the things. One of the things that Elsie does really well is creating characters that you want to be friends with and characters you want to get tangled up in the sheets with all at the same time. She writes some of the best grumps and her steamy scenes are off the charts!

Here’s the thing about Elsie Silver’s books—they’re all epically good. Not a single book has disappointed me since I picked up Out of the Gate and this one did the trick too. And if that’s not enough, she made us fall head over heels in love with Dr. Mira Thorne as Stefan fell in love with her too.
Every now and then you stumble across an author who has a magical way of sucking you into her stories without trying very hard. And in 2021, that person is Elsie Silver.
