When Amy announced The Surprise Seduction, I was salivating at the thought of an age gap and a sibling’s best friend romance that featured everyone’s favourite doctor. I didn’t know what I was getting myself into with this book, but I’d like to say that I am wholly and completely unprepared to write this review, because this book did so much for me, I am speechless. However, I will do my best to articulate my feelings.

A part of me is still reeling from how great this book was! I feel over the course of the first four books—and the two novellas—I’ve never really given Fisher Greene much thought, but he’s always been there in the background as the sheriff of Sunrise Bay and as a brooding member of the Greene family, but seeing him in this book made me love him so much.
This best friends to lovers, surprise pregnancy was a breath of fresh air! I absolutely enjoyed watching these two go through the motions of being friends and soon-to-be parents in a completely unique way.
I’m always so wary of surprise pregnancies and how they’ll be handled by the two characters when thrust into that situation, but I was pleasantly surprised by how it all worked out.
Mila Nicks joins the Oak Bend gang with a single parent, second chance romance that made me feel the feels. I’ve always enjoyed reading Mila Nicks and this one was no exception. It was a quick, fun read filled with giggles thanks to an adorable little girl and a wonderful small town.
I am a sucker for hockey romances and when you toss in a secret pregnancy and all of the college shenanigans you can imagine, you’re treated to a fun, flirty and quick romance.
I can’t believe this series is over! Stumbling across Sara L. Hudson’s Space series was definitely one of the highlights of my life. Because these books are funny, sassy, smart and sexy and feature the most incredible group of characters.
Forces of Forever is a companion novella to her All In series, which follows three couples working at OrbitAll, a space tourism agency. In this novella, we get a glimpse into where OrbitAll started and the man behind the company that gave us (meaning, me) some of our favourite characters of 2021.
The minute someone says ‘enemies to lovers’, I’m there. And The Enemy Trap by Maren Moore is a fun addition to romance novels fitting that trope.
By now, you know how much I love and adore the Callahan family. So far, Colleen and Hayes have been my favourites, but with Check Swing, I think I might have a new favourite pairing in Sinclair and Frankie.
