Oof. This book knocked me on my backside from the minute I started reading! If it wasn’t for the need to sleep, I would have probably just read through the night and sobbed my way through most of it too. I’m still fairly new to Corinne Michaels’ stories, but I am definitely ready to get caught up in more! This one had a great balance of suspense, small towns and a swoony romance.
I’m the kind of Susannah Nix fan that will get excited when the ARC shows up in her inbox, wait a few days to calm myself and then spend four hours in a day ignoring all my chores and work to just read the book in one sitting.
As a sucker for friends to lovers, and also a fan of Erin’s debut last year, I was super stoked to dive into this one. And it was such a fun and entertaining read. There was so much to love about this book and even though at times I did feel like things were dragging a little, it always seemed to pick itself back up and deliver another punch of feels to the gut!
I have nothing but love for Teagan Hunter, so it surprises nobody that I am in love with and obsessed with her Carolina Comets series. Every book in the series has Teagan’s brand of humour and steam, and let’s not forget all of the hilarious and entertaining friendships and text messages. These are four things I’ve come to expect with her books and she delivered yet again.
This book was so wonderful! I might have struggled a little with Digging Up Love, but everything about this book won me over. There were so many great things and tropes and just the most amazing characters, it made me feel so much by the end.
I am completely and wholly obsessed with Katia Rose’s sapphic/NBLW romances, because they’re so real and relatable and it warms the cold cold heart in my chest. Her characters are complex and have so much to offer, she puts her 100% into crafting this world and these stories that everyone can enjoy.
If you’ve read the first three books in this series, then you already know what you’re in for with Ana Huang’s storytelling. It’s epic and intense, it’s sexy and beautiful, there’s some danger and there’s some badassery.
The Alias and the Altar is a strangers to lovers, marriage of convenience, forced proximity, romantic suspense that has a lot of the tension and stress we witnessed in book one. Sienna and Parker are running from the Family, finding refuge at the ranch where Parker tracked his younger brother down.
From the moment this book was announced, I was excited and ready to dive into a whole new Jessica Peterson world. I loved her North Carolina Highlands series and knew that whatever came next would also be truly magical. And she did not disappoint.
Lauren Searson-Patrick’s debut is a stunning one. The world building, the character histories and all of the wonderful magic that is spread across this book captivated me from the moment I picked it up.
