Truth be told, I didn’t know I wanted a Jeffrey book, but once Harlow James announced that it was coming, it was all I wanted. He was the quintessential best friend in book one who then made amusing appearances through the course of the rest of the books. I loved his fluffy and honest personality in whatever little bits we saw of him. But nothing could have prepared me for how charming and endearing Jeffrey would be, or how honest and kind he’d come across as. I truly enjoyed this book and loved every minute he and Ariel spent together!

Teagan Hunter is one of those authors that I have loved since I read her Texting series. Her humour is spot on, her banter is fantastic and if there’s a chapter or two with just texting between the characters, I’m here for it.
Every single one of these Love at Knockdown books has been absolutely stunning and I am constantly amazed by Skye Kilaen’s writing. She creates really great characters who bring so much more to the story than just being part of a relationship, and that makes you not only relate to them on so many levels, but also makes you love them just a little more.
If you’ve read Amy’s Landry Love series, then you’ve already encountered Sawyer Fletcher a few times. As the good guy veterinarian in the small town of Landry, he’s had the attention and affection of The League for years. But after a bunch of failed dates and complicated situations, they’ve backed off. Till they decide to sign him up for their town’s version of The Bachelor. This book had so many laugh out loud moments, but also tons of swoon and let’s not even forget the fact that the good guy has the dirtiest mouth ever!
There’s just something about Julie Olivia’s stories that make me feel all warm and fuzzy. And with her new Honeywood series, it’s constant warm and fuzzies and I am all about it. With this second book in the series of standalones, we’re treated to some very special tropes and some very special characters.
There were so many things going for this book that should have worked for me, but I struggled through it. And I entirely believe that this is a ‘me’ problem and might be a book enjoyed by others. It took me a really long time to warm up to the characters.
After reading and loving the Betting on Love series by Loren Beeson, I was beyond excited to know that she had a new book (and series) coming. So you bet your ass I wanted to read it and devour it and just soak up all of what Loren has to offer. It’s a nice change from her romantic suspense series with a vacation romance and it’s got everything that we love about Loren’s books, which only makes it that much more special.
When I read Read Between the Lines late last year, I fell in love with Rachel Lacey’s storytelling and writing style. It’s so different from other romances that I’d been reading and I needed more. And then I saw that we were getting a second book in the Ms. Right series and I was so excited! Because Lia Harris was one of my favourite supporting characters in Read Between the Lines and she deserved her happily ever after too!
Even though I’m very new to Harlow James stories, the one thing that I already know is that I absolutely love her storytelling. From the characters to the plot and the friendships, it’s all so wonderful. And with the first in her new series, that feeling is no different. Never Say Never is a rivals to lovers, fake dating romance that takes the steam up a couple of notches all while still delivering some pretty strong topics of discussion.
Like so many others, I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about Stefan Dalca getting his own HEA. But can we take a minute to talk about how incredible he is? Elsie Silver took a character we all muttered and grumbled about in the first two books and turned him into this sexy stud that we can’t get enough of. And if that’s not enough, she made us fall head over heels in love with Dr. Mira Thorne as Stefan fell in love with her too.
