It was fun, lighthearted for the most part, it had a fun meet-cute and great family dynamics (if you ignore both her parents and his biological dad). There’s also a pet chicken involved and while I loved the scenes with Chick-Chick, I feel like she took over a lot of the story.
Meisha Gladney’s debut is a fun new adult story about going on the journey to finding yourself and letting music guide the way. While it is a romance, it’s important to know that the romance is secondary, this story is about Danielle’s discovery of herself.
This book was so wonderful! I might have struggled a little with Digging Up Love, but everything about this book won me over. There were so many great things and tropes and just the most amazing characters, it made me feel so much by the end.
I love it when a book is unexpectedly wonderful that it makes you sit down for three hours after you wake up and read it in one go. That’s exactly what happened with The Comic Con by Dee Lagasse.
This book was such a treat. Not only did I not read the blurb to remind myself of what the book was about before I started, but I also decided not to read any reviews either. And I’m so glad. Because I enjoyed this book so much more than I thought I would and having read some of the reviews now, I’m glad I didn’t let those change my thoughts about the book.
I don’t have a lot of experience with historical romances, but I’ve always enjoyed the ones I’ve read. And this one is no different. I went into this friends to lovers romance mostly blind and was pleasantly surprised by the way it was written.
feel like Book Boyfriend is more a story about friendships and the connections you make with people, about finding your courage and strength and trusting yourself to do something that is scary and terrifying.
I am absolutely blown away by the brilliant writing of Lindsey Jesionowski in her stunning debut. The words have a lyrical feel to them and the story itself is so enticing and interesting that once you start, it’ll be hard to put it down. And there’s a part of me that can’t quite believe that this is Lindsey’s debut, because this book is fantastic.
