I have loved my first ever Aurora Rose Reynolds book and I am, without a doubt, going to be picking up more of her books! Having Rushed be available for ‘read now’ on NetGalley, combined with this gorgeous cover, I was giddy at being able to read this one and now that I’ve consumed it in a day, I don’t know what life is going to be like without Cybil and Tanner to keep me company!

The premise of the book hooked me with promises of two academic Black queer women who find each other many years since their last interaction and fall in love. Plus, with Madrid as a backdrop, I was really eager to dive into this.
Sajni Patel is slowly becoming a favourite. Between creating a world that I’m familiar with in a new way and writing characters that are so real and wonderful, her stories have captivated me.
Just when you think Chloe Liese has written the best characters of all time, she introduces you to Axel Bergman and Rooney Sullivan. And then every other character you’ve ever read starts to pale in comparison.
I loved the sound of the blurb and the premise, I enjoyed knowing that two strangers meet and connect, but then don’t see each other again for a while. But I didn’t like the way the story was told.
Calling all nerds and television junkies, this book is a fun adventure for you! Tash Skilton – better known as the writing duo Sarah Skilton and Sarvenaz Tash – have written a friends-to-lovers coming of age story that includes fandoms, nerds and a Hollywood love story. It’s a quirky, fun read with a great group of characters and an interesting journey that everyone goes on in order to find themselves while finding the one they love.
he Cheat Sheet is Sarah’s newest addition to her series of fantastic romantic comedies. One of my favorite things about Sarah’s stories is how relatable her heroines are. They’re beautiful, charming and hilarious, but we can all see a little bit of ourselves in them.
Sometimes you stumble across a book on NetGalley, not knowing what you’re going to get when you start and then suddenly you’re crying and feeling all the feels and falling in love with characters you’ve never met before and adding previous books in the series to your TBR and your Kindle because you just need more!
This book was everything I needed to climb out of my reading slump. It was filled with delicious food, a swoony hockey playing hero and a fantastic heroine. It had all the makings of a perfect dish and I devoured it quickly and without a break, because that’s how much I enjoyed it.
Not too long ago, I read and loved Meet Me At the Lighthouse by Mary Jayne Baker, so I was really excited to find another one of her books available for request on NetGalley. And from the blurb, it sounded like it was going to be an absolute riot with enemies to lovers and childhood lovers reuniting. And it was fun, for a while. I absolutely loved Bridie and Ben, because their relationship was so much fun!
