I am completely and wholly obsessed with Katia Rose’s sapphic/NBLW romances, because they’re so real and relatable and it warms the cold cold heart in my chest. Her characters are complex and have so much to offer, she puts her 100% into crafting this world and these stories that everyone can enjoy.
Here’s the thing about Elsie Silver’s books—they’re all epically good. Not a single book has disappointed me since I picked up Out of the Gate and this one did the trick too. Elsie has a way with writing tropes, characters and worlds that other people don’t and that’s what I really love about her stories.
Even if you’ve not read the previous two books in the series, this one works perfectly well as a standalone. And if you have read the first two, then you are going to love this one because my god it was so beautiful.
With every book in the Tattered & Torn series, I fall more and more in love with Catherine Cowles’ writing and the worlds she builds. There’s just so much going on, so much to love and enjoy and at the heart of it, it’s stories about real people that captivates you from the moment you pick up a book.
When it comes to Emery Rose and her Lost Stars series, I know that I’m going to be a sobbing mess, angry and feeling all the feels. Every book in this series has put me through all my emotions and I honestly don’t know how to handle all of it.
I’m sad that this series is over. As someone who has fallen in love with hockey through this series, I’m gonna miss these guys. But, I’ve also been so greedy for Jana and Kane’s story that to finally have it makes me beyond happy.
It’s official, I am now a Stacy Travis fan girl. When we got a hint of the San Francisco Strikers No Match for Her, I honestly didn’t think I’d care about football/soccer, but it’s clear that Stacy Travis can make me like anything. Plus, with characters like Molly and Holden, it’s almost impossible to not like this book. So much so that I read it in a few hours, because I needed to soak it all up as much as possible!
I don’t know if I’ve said it before, but 2022 is turning out to be such an amazing year for debuts. Julia Connors’ second chance sports romance is a fantastic debut and one that I am so glad I got to read early! It was an angsty slow burn, with lots of things that I love about romance all rolled into one.
I’m happy to repeat it every time I read a Susannah Nix book, but I’m such a big fan of her brand of romance. Ever since I read the Chemistry Lessons books, I’ve been hooked and addicted. And now with the final book in her Starstruck series, she’s done it again!
I love a good sapphic romance as much as the next person and I went into The Romance Recipe blindly because I didn’t want my feelings for the book to be clouded by other people’s feelings and opinions. And I’m glad, because I thoroughly enjoyed this one.
