It’s the 80s. A time when there are no smart phones or the internet. An actress is trying to make it in theatre in Boston while struggling with her dyslexia. And a radio DJ is doing the best he can with the life he’s been handed and the scars that haunt him. And when they come together, it’s a beautiful love story.

One thing you can be guaranteed to find in R.S Grey books is a set of undeniably amazing characters. And in To Have and to Hate, it’s no different.
The Start of Someday is such a perfect novella set over the course of Christmas and into the New Year. We get to meet two incredibly compatible characters with wild sexual chemistry and other kinds of chemistry too and watch their relationship unfold.
It’s so great to find characters who have this natural chemistry and that’s something I’ve always loved about R.S. Grey’s writing – everything fits together so nicely like a puzzle, even the bad and hard stuff.
The story is filled with so much heart, with incredible characters who hook you right from the start. It’s got great friendships, a second chance romance, a whole lot of steam and two amazing leads who totally won me over.
This second chance, angsty romance was nothing like I expected it to be. What happens when you leave behind the love of your life and then pour all of that love into a book that becomes a bestseller? You deal with the consequences of the book.
