Hunter has a big city girl meeting a hot as hell cowboy in a small town – so obviously I needed it in my life! A quick read, Hunter is my first Anna Brooks book and I enjoyed it!
These Gallaghers and their lives, it’s enviable. I enjoyed meeting Dylan, Ian, Isabelle and Josie in the first of the series in this spin-off, but it’s even better getting to spend some quality time with Dylan.
The minute someone says ‘enemies to lovers’, I’m there. And The Enemy Trap by Maren Moore is a fun addition to romance novels fitting that trope.
Grumpy Cowboy is the third in the Single Dad collection and if you know me at all, know that I love the single parent trope and would read every single book that fulfilled that trope. But they tossed in enemies to lovers, grump and sunshine, cowboy and city girl, slow burning in a small town and even added their famous brand of humour.
You know what Monty Jay is really good at? Tugging on your heartstrings. Every book of hers that I’ve read so far has just blown me away. She writes incredible stories, with such complex characters who go on journeys that are relatable, but also so beautifully crafted.
Fiona West has been slaying me regularly with her books in the Timber Falls series, all of them set in a small town following the lives of the various characters that live there.
Katie Frey’s debut will captivate you right from the start. While you don’t need to read Nearly Late, the novella that introduces these characters, it’s definitely a good thing to get familiarized with them early on. These two stories follow strong women who’ve had cancer, fought the battle and won to come out on the other side and the love they find in the least expected places.
This is my first Catherine Cowles book and good lord, it was beautiful. I loved the premise of the book, but I didn’t know what I was going to experience as I went into it. The characters were so well crafted and beautiful, and the story so powerful. I loved every minute of this book because it dug deep into my heart and soul and made me feel so much for these characters.
Elsie Silver has officially won me over with her debut novel. Off to the Races is a smart, fast paced, small town, steamy, enemies to lovers that you won’t be able to put down. From the moment you meet Billie and Vaughn, you are completely obsessed and buried in their world, because it’s so captivating.
Adriana Locke’s brand of contemporary romance is totally my thing. She writes interesting and relatable characters, dealing with complicated and heart wrenching issues and struggles, but she also adds her own magic with family love, humour, banter and incredible writing.
