Devney Perry (writing as Willa Nash) always comes up with the most unique and interesting storylines to put her characters through the wringer. And with The Brawl, that’s no different. This book was fun, sexy and cute; but it also tackled some pretty hard topics and was handled so well.

As someone who is not a big fan of the enemies to lovers trope, I went into this book very carefully and nervously. But I came out of it in tears and with my heart racing because Nellie and Cal completely transformed my life. These characters evolve into an enemies with benefits situation that is all kinds of hot and lemme just say that Willa Nash (aka Devney Perry) has a magical touch when it comes to all of her stories. I have loved every minute of these Calamity, Montana books and I never want this series to end!
Like with all the other books in the Calamity Montana series, the characters and their relationship was so nicely crafted. Devney Perry, writing as Willa Nash, has a knack for writing great small town romances with wonderful characters.
In The Bluff, we not only get the most intense and delicious steam I’ve read this year, but also a fake relationship and a marriage of convenience and a grumpy/sunshine pairing. And oh man, it’s all so damn good and I love how beautifully this story was crafted.
This book combines country music with drama and so much sexiness that you will want to read it twice just to make sure you can soak up all of the awesomeness that has been packed into it.
