I have a very complicated relationship with this book. I really enjoyed it, but I also didn’t. It’s a weird place to be, so keeping that in mind, I’ll make this a short review.

When we first met Reed in The Newspaper Nanny I was really intrigued by him. I should have known that Maren Moore would give us a book and a whole series about the hockey team he’s a part of.
I’m such a big fan of this trope, where the parent falls for the nanny, because it’s forbidden, but it’s also a secretive relationship. It’s always so much fun to see just how much willpower these characters have before they snap.
The minute someone says ‘enemies to lovers’, I’m there. And The Enemy Trap by Maren Moore is a fun addition to romance novels fitting that trope.
