I spent the last few hours staring at my notes for this review, because where does one even begin when reviewing a brilliant Kandi Steiner book? I’m still gathering my thoughts, so I’m gonna miss stuff and there’s a good chance this sounds like gibberish at the end.

Oof, Kandi Steiner didn’t give me enough of a warning about how this book would make me feel. I always go into Kandi’s stories prepared to cry and/or soul’s been wrung dry. And with Fair Catch I definitely went through all of the feelings.
If you know me at all, then you know that I will read every single Kandi Steiner book on the planet because I’m a big fan. And when she announced the Bayside Heroes series with three other amazing authors, I jumped at the chance to read an ARC of the first book.
I can’t believe we’ve reached the end of the Palm South University series! Much like a television show, the last few years of reading this series has brought joy to my life. Kandi Steiner created such an incredible world of characters that go through everything you can imagine, but come out strong at the end.
I think there needs to be a genre that is specifically designated for Kandi Steiner’s books, because this one was absolutely beautiful. Kandi is a master weaver when it comes to telling stories that hook you right from the start and Say Yes was no different.
I absolutely and completely love Kandi Steiner’s PSU series. It’s one of the first series that I read of hers and the unique format and style of it was an absolute win for me.
When it comes to Kandi Steiner’s books, one thing that I’m always certain I’m going to feel is a sense of being transported to another place. Her descriptions and settings are always so beautifully written that you are no longer on your couch with your kindle and your fingers coated in Cheetos dust.
Here’s a quick look at some of my favourite books and authors from 2020!
If you’re a fan of sassy heroines who are badass boss babes and super hot athletes with hearts of gold, then this is the book for you. I can’t express just how wonderful Belle and Makoa are, because they are from different worlds and have different aspirations in life, but somehow they just seem to fit.
You might go into this book thinking you’re going to get fun parties and hot people, but you’re also going to get a heart full of feelings and angst and romance and everything in between. This is my favourite book of the series and I can tell you right now that you won’t be sorry once you get sucked into Palm South University.
