Returning to Alondra Valley made me really happy and even more because we finally got to hang out with Liam, who we all loved (and got angry with, never hated) in Feels Like Love. But he totally redeemed himself with this one, because he was swoony and charming and hiding the biggest secret of them all!
Ever since I started reading the Love in LA series, I’ve been waiting for Jenna Hartley to write Harper’s story. And after reading this book, her author’s note and acknowledgements, I am so in awe of Jenna’s strength to write this story even though it took so much out of her. It’s a story of second chances, not just in love, but in yourself. It’s also about not giving up, even when things are really hard.
I absolutely love Jenna Hartley’s stories of love, because they give you the warm and fuzzies, while also making you sweat. And while I’ve been waiting for Harper’s story, I am so giddy with love for Feels Like Love, especially since we do get to see Harper in this, even if she’s not the main character in the book.
Ah, Jenna Hartley, you write such a great romance! And another age gap romance, which only makes it that much more enticing. Inevitable is an angsty, workplace, dad’s best friend, age gap and forbidden romance that will leave you panting for more and wishing for your own Jonathan.
Hotshot was a fast read featuring enemies to lovers in a seriously hot and steamy romance.
Here’s a quick look at some of my favourite books and authors from 2020!
When they’re together, she’s far more relaxed and open and it’s so nice to see that side. We see some of that in Unpredictable, but to see it in their own book was something special.
Juliana and Harrison have a story that is so timeless, beautiful and absolutely heartwarming. Put this book your on comfort reading list right away!
